My exciting journey into web development began about a year ago when I was getting more interested in business development. I learned some R Programming and SQL.
Several years ago, I earned a Bachelor's degree in English with emphasis in Creative Writing and minor in Psychology. Now I realize what it was preparing me for. So this is what I can do to really make a difference with my love of reading, researching, writing, typing, editing, and outlining. This will be my creative outlet and will be used to meet real-world business solutions.
I have spent the last 16 years of my life being a clinical professional, which has drastically improved my communication skills, from being a shy teenager to someone who has to build rapport quickly with new clients.
I am now working for a wellness company, seeing clients and making a great impact in the lives of senior citizens, and I am updating and maintaining the website, social media, analytics, and marketing to help the business to reach more clients.
These are busy and fun-filled times as I begin the employer project with my team and code coaches at Codefi and Vizient. We will be completing the Apprenticeship at the end of May 2024, and hopefully will be able to attend the graduation and networking event in Missouri where we will present the project.
